    The OneDay Herbal Peel usually causes little to moderate peeling/ Active peeling period is approximately 2 to 7 days, although some clients may experience mild dryness or light flaking.

  • Most clients experience only mild tingling or warmth during treatment. The intensity depends on the peel selected and your skin sensitivity, but the treatment is generally well tolerated.

  • Before Treatment:

    Proper preparation minimizes irritation and ensures the best results for your procedure:

    • Avoid Exfoliants: Stop using topical retinol, Vitamin A, hydroquinone, and AHA/BHA (glycolic or salicylic acid) products 3 to 7 days before your appointment.

    • Pause Hair Removal: Do not wax, tweeze, or undergo laser hair removal near the treatment area for at least 7 to 14 days before your peel.

    • Medications: Avoid blood-thinning medications and supplements (e.g., aspirin, ibuprofen, Omega-3s) for about a week prior to reduce the risk of bruising, especially if combined with microneedling.

    • Skin Health: Ensure you do not have any active cold sores, infections, or open wounds in the treatment area.

    Post-Treatment Care

    • For the First 12-24 Hours: Do not wash your face, apply makeup, or engage in activities that cause excessive sweating (like saunas, hot tubs, or heavy cardio).

    • Skincare Products: Do not use any harsh cleansers or actives for 1 to 2 weeks post-treatment, including prescription acne medications or tretinoin. Only use gentle, hydrating products as recommended by your aesthetician.

    • Sun Protection: Protect your skin from sun exposure. Use a broad-spectrum, physical SPF 50+ sunscreen daily.

    • Healing Process: The skin may begin to flake around Day 3 to 5. Let the skin shed naturally; never pick, peel, or scrub at flaking areas, as this can cause scarring and hyperpigmentation.

    • Recovery Creams: Apply recommended recovery balms (like Vitamin Rich Repair) to hydrate the skin barrier while it heals.
